The B&B and hostel are located in Prästgården next to Svabensverks Herrgård in the village of Svabensverk, 60 km north of Falun and 40 km south of Edsbyn/Alfta along highway 50. The village of Svabensverk lies between the lakes Amungen and Hämmen, where you can fish and swim. Next to the manor flows the Bruksån, where you might encounter the village beaver.

You can find berries and mushrooms in the forests around Svabensverks Herrgård, and if you're lucky, you might also see moose, fox, bear, wolf, wolverine, and lynx. In winter, you can skate and ski in the village or go downhill skiing in Edsbyn, Bollnäs, Järvsö, Rättvik, Falun, Bjursås, and Borlänge, all within a 100 km radius.
