Rutsbrogården

Hostel | Rutsbrogården is located in the village of Rutån, a little outside Dala-Järna in Vansbro municipality. A peaceful stay is offered here for those looking for affordable and close to nature accommodation in the heart of Dalarna.

From here there is proximity to hiking and cycling trails, ski trails, berry and mushroom fields, scooter trails, child-friendly swimming areas and fine fishing waters.

In the main house, the "hostel", there is a 4-bed room on the lower floor and 5 smaller rooms on the upper floor. In the small cottage on the farm, there is a four-bed apartment "Stugan" on the lower floor and a two-bed apartment "Loft" on the upper floor. The hostel has a large shared kitchen with 2 stoves and 2 fridge/freezers, microwave ovens, kettle and coffee maker. There is also a shared common room and laundry room. The four-bed apartment in the cottage has its own kitchen, toilet, shower and fireplace. In the two-bed apartment, which has its own entrance on the gable end of the cottage, there is a kitchenette as well as its own shower and toilet. In the barn on the farm there is a loge which is perfect for large dinners and social pleasures!

Bed linen and towels are brought by yourself, but are also available for rent. Departure cleaning can also be booked.
Large parts of the farm are accessible and dogs are welcome throughout the facility at no extra cost.
