Summit hike to Nipfjället 6 km

Climbing the highest peak in the Städjan-Nipfjäll massif, 1,191 m above sea level. Magnificent views but the terrain is quite awkward. The path can be difficult to orient and sometimes rocky.

Description
Start and end location: From Nipfjället's summer parking to the top of Nipfjället (Mulen) and back to the parking lot.
Length: 6 km back and forth.
Elevation gain: 267 meters.
Trail markings: A digital map is available on Idre Fjäll's website, see link below. GPX file is also available.
Time: Approximately 2-3 hours (adult).
Severity: Medium, steep climb towards the top.
Environment: A summit tour with a relatively short approach before the climb up to the top begins. From Nipfjället's summer parking, follow the signs to Ulandsstugan and Slagubäckstugan. After 1.5 km at the wooden sign Mulen, turn left and begin the steep hike up to the top of Nipfjället at 1191 meters altitude. Here you are rewarded with panoramic views of the mountains and see, among other things, Idre Fjäll, Städjan, Fjätervålen, Lofsdalen, Grövelsjö area, Slagubäckstöten and Norwegian Rendalssölen.
