Biosphere reserve Älvlandskapet Nedre Dalälven

The river landscape Nedre Dalälven from Säter, Hedemora and Avesta in the west to the Bothnian Sea in the east was designated in 2011 by UNESCO as a biosphere reserve, one of a total of five areas in Sweden.
