Lake Storsjön around 8 km

Storsjön runt is a magnificent experience in lakeside nature. The hike is on forest paths, gravel road, natural bridge of stone and earth where the pines create an avenue.

Start and end location: At the parking lot at Ryggåstugan and the forest workers' village. Length: 8 km -12 km, circular loop. Trail markings: Orange marking on trees or poles. Time required: 2-3 hours. Difficulty: medium hiking - narrow paths in parts. Sturdy boots/shoes that can withstand wet are recommended. Environment: Clearcuts, spruce forests, cycle paths and marshes that have footbridges and a piece of marsh land without footbridges. Description: At the starting point there is a board with a map. In the immediate area there is café Ryggåstugan, Snöå Herrgård with accommodation, restaurant, conference facility and mini golf. XCO bike lane and bike trails. Snöå Golf Club's golf course. Motorhome pitches. Fairytale trail, forest workers' village, canoe rental and sauna and bath in a wood-fired tub. Ski stadium with cross-country ski tracks in winter.
