There is also a restaurant and café in the area, which are also open all year round. Interactive museum During large parts of the year, it is also open in the Mine Museum, which tells the story of the mine from the Viking Age until 2001, when the site was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The museum is interactive, so visitors can both see and touch. Why not test you knowledge of copper or go by a barrel into the mine’s deep shaft?
