The city that is perhaps best known for Vasaloppet (the world’s oldest long-distance cross-country ski race), Dalahästen (The Dala Horse) and Santa Claus.

Vasaloppet is a phenomenon that puts Sweden in motion, all year round. In addition to a rich variety of outdoor activities available in Mora you can visit Santa's residence, Santa World. Mora is a centre for craftsmanship and industry, such as the Dala Horse from Nusnäs. A visit to the Zorn Museum which offers both permanent and temporary exhibitions is a must when you consider that Anders Zorn is one of Sweden’s most famous artist that also made a name for himself internationally. Moreover, Mora is Dalarnas northern center of commerce and industry with around 100 stores.
