Welcome to Orsa

The music has made Orsa famous, with famous artists like Moraeus and Orsa Spelman leading the way. Their passion for music welcomes everyone to visit and partake in street music festival “Orsayran”. Orsa carries a long history in the grinding stone manufacturing, where the special Orsa sandstone has been used for grinding ever since the Viking times. In the wintertime Grönklitt is a true skier's paradise with its snowy slopes.
