Ice skating in Dalarna

Dalarna might have been made for long-distance skating on natural lake ice and if you’ve never experienced the thrill of nordic skating, you’re in for a real treat. The first enthusiasts are out on the ice as soon as it is thick enough and for much of the season there are marked, ploughed routes, varying in length.  

Skating Dalarna is a partnership between ice skating destinations of Dalarna to promote and assure the quality of the region’s ice skating destinations so that more people can enjoy skating on our prepared natural trails.
