Canoeing in Gagnef

In Djurås, Västerdalälven flows together with the Österdalälven and forms Dalälven - the third longest river in the country - and continues its journey towards the Baltic Sea. Here you will find many nice places for fishing, hiking, or enjoying beautiful scenery. In Fänforsen in Björbo, visitors are tempted to try whitewater rafting and paddling in the beautiful Västerdalälven where the forces flow out. Käringforsen is a good try-out place for beginners.
