Älvpromenaden 8,5 km

Älvpromenaden (The River Walk) is 8.5 kilometers long and trails along the river banks on both sides of Dalälven from Avesta to Krylbo.

Length: 8.5 km. Difficulty: Easy. The trail leads over paths, footbridges, asphalt and gravel roads. There may be roots and the terrain varies according to the season. Starting point: Start at Verket in Koppardalen. There is parking and a café. In central Avesta, just a stone's throw from the plant, there are accommodation and restaurants. Trail marking: Along the walk there are signs and markings in green and red that show where the trail goes. Along the road you find benches and barbeque places for those who want to take at break. Along the walk you can experience the sound of Avestaforsen’s rapid waters, Gamla Byn, Döda Fallen, Koppardalen with Verket, and more. A tip! Start at the "Verket" in Koppardalen. There is parking and a café. In central Avesta, just a bit away, there are accommodation and restaurants.
