Olsjö church path 9 km

Hiking trail between the Finnish settlement village of Olsjön and Broby in Sunnansjö, Ludvika Municipality. The path follows the route that churchgoers used in the past to reach the church.

Start and end point: Olsjön or Sunnansjö in Ludvika municipality. See directions. Length: 9 km, one way. Trail markings: Orange/yellow markings. Duration: About 2.5 hours. Difficulty: A moderately challenging to tougher hiking trail with some elevation. Description: Benches are available at several rest spots and multiple information boards describe the path and its history. The trail can be hiked in both directions and has a height difference of 150 meters. There were many summer farms in the area. For selling milk, daily contact with the home farm was necessary.
