Fulunässoldaten, Sälen

This is where the Görälven and Fuluälven rivers merge to form the Västerdalälven. The Fulunäs Soldier statue, located at a rest area, is a monument to all the men and women who protected the Norwegian-Swedish border durring the second world war. North of the rest area are significant remnants of one of Sweden´s largest, most important defenses from the war, 1939-1945.
