A blue trail that is suitable for both beginners and the more experienced, but not the smallest children.
Very easy to ride at first, no hills but a couple of km with some technical elements.
Length: 11km Category: Blue Type of bike: MTB, Cyclocross Foundation: Asphalt Gravel Path Description: We start the trail center next to Vansbro Camping
Krogenrundan is a trail that goes south from Vansbro and follows the Västerdal River.
At first it is asphalt for a little bit which then turns into a gravel road, after 3 km you arrive at Krogbäcken, where there is a nice barbecue area with benches.
From here, the trail continues over a bridge and then follows a nice winding path along the river for about 2 km and then follows Gruckån.
This is a nice section with a wet hole and technical elements through old forest.
Finally, you arrive at the old railway, which is no longer in use, and you follow it all the way back to Vansbro.
(At the tavern there is fine old cultural history to take part in).
Visit Dalarna is not responsible for the trail or its maintenance. Keep in mind that the trails are affected by the season and weather, so please check the conditions before you head out to the trail.
