In the middle of the World Heritage Site at Falu Mine there are 27 pitches, within walking distance of central Falun. Combine a guided visit to Falu Gruva with home-baked coffee at café Gjuthuset, lunch at the high-class Geschwornergården, and dinner with a view at PZA!
Take the opportunity to stay for a couple of days for visits to, among other things, the Carl Larsson farm, the Dalarna Museum and Staberg's miner's farm.
For more active experiences in nature, we recommend a visit to Främby Udde/Sjösidan Falun. There you can have coffee, swim and rent canoes and hammocks and paddle out to one of Runn's many islands.
Toilets and showers are located in the red service building by the parking lot next to the Visitors Center. Electricity, as well as emptying of grey water and latrine is not available. Daytime from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daytime parking applies. (June-August). Even if you have paid for a parking space, you have to pay for day parking.
