Cross country skiing in Älvdalen

A large part of the Vasalopps trail extends through the village and through the classic Vasalopp checks you can find out in nice ski trails. Or choose to explore the more hidden gems and golden grains that hide striking nature experiences.

In Älvdalen there are miles of prepared tracks suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers. Älvdalen 'ski stadion' is situated in the village. The electrically lit trail is 5,6 km of which 3,5 km is artificially produced to gurantee skiing all winter.

Other trails up to 18 km also start at the 'ski stadion'. In the surrounding area there are many more Nordic ski path, Rännkölen, Evertsberg, Åsen, Nornäs and Brunnsberg to name a few.
