Dalälven's fishing area covers the Österdalälven's stretch from the Badstubacks bridge in Mora to Spjutmo. A stretch of about 2 miles which in its lower part is wide and calm with a number of different fish species such as pike, whitefish and perch.
The upper part, about 8 km, is an alternating current that mainly holds grayling and trout and is excellent for fly fishing. The river flows through a scenic and varied landscape with forests and steep ridges and is reached via a number of forest roads in the area.
