As a farmer for a day, you get a glimpse of life on a farm and you will join the daily work with the animals. You can participate as much as you want depending on your ability and willingness. Become a farmer for a day in Central Sweden. Depending on the time of year you come will depend on the task you can join in. A general day can consist of:
Spring season April - May 15
We feed and pat Berta and the other sheep and lambs in Fårpalatset
We greet the cows in their winter residence, the loose house.
When it is time for coffee we gather around the kitchen table in the farmer’s house.
After the coffee break, we take the kind sheep dogs Max and Ted on a walk to the new stable where Whippe and the other horses says hey!
Next door to the stable is the hens house, you can feed the hens and chicken and look for some eggs. You can buy some eggs if you want to, before we going back and the day tour is finish.
Summer season May 15 - September 31
We take a tour with the tractor- pulled carriage and visit the animals in their pastures.
We greet the old sheep Berta and hug some of the lambs.

We stay and have a picnic on the fields if the weather is fine!
On the way back we visit the horses and the hens and look for some eggs you can pick and buy if you want to.
