Dalum Outdoor Cooking Food tastes better outdoors, and once you get started, it becomes a big part of the experience. Guides, hunters, and fishermen have a tradition of outdoor cooking that we can learn from. After a short hike, we'll cook together an exquisite meal in a frying pan. Lingonberry drink, thinly sliced reindeer meat, or a wild mix of reindeer, moose, and bear with vegetables accessories. Wilderness Fire "At the age of 10, I learned how to start a fire to heat food and drinks on fishing trips with my father. It didn't matter if it was raining; the fire had to be kindled," says guide Tommy Lönnebacke. How do we always find dry firewood? What is good to ignite with? How do you build up a fire? How to fire safely? We will go through ignition materials and different types of lighters, make our own fire starter for times when you really need to light a warming fire.
