Idre Himmelfjäll is a modern alpine resort. The piste system is built in the "Colorado" style with winding slopes drawn by magical mountain forest. The forest is important on Himmelfjäll and therefore the resort has thinned carefully for a natural skiing experience. 18 slopes and 8 lifts take you around the wide ski system. The slopes are natural, fun, swinging and varied. There are green, blue and some red slopes where the highest fall height is 323 meters and the longest slope measures a full 3.2 kilometres.
For those who want to go cross-country skiing, there is a drawn trail that starts at the ski rental and which takes you further into a sparkling winter landscape and Idre Fjäll's 84 kilometres of prepared training and exercise tracks. There are 30 kilometres of illuminated dual electric light tracks for training both day and night.
