Leksand Golf Club

Leksand Golf Club is a undulating parkland and woodland course. Water bodies make it very challenging, with interesting greens. The course, par 70 has a nice layout in the beautiful countryside around lake Limsjön. There is a restaurant and a practice area.

The 18-hole course in Leksand was opened in 1984 and during 1993-96, an extensive remodeling took place. All the greens were rebuilt and simultaneously the course got grass tees on every hole. The course also got partially rerouted. A lot has happened on the course in recent years and the reactions of those who play there is very positive. The maintenance is highly praised. The course has become more beautiful, more open and drier thanks to ditching and filling. There are golf carts for hire. Only softspikes are permitted. Dogs are not allowed. .
