Stay in an old fine cottage on a farm, beautifully located approximately six kilometers from Hedemora. The cottage is 70 m2 and has 6-8 beds, electric heating as well as open fire heating, WC and shower. Pets are allowed. Here you can borrow a boat for fishing trips. There are also opportunities to ride in a horse-drawn carriage or sleigh. For those interested in skiing there are nice trails in the surroundings of Hedemora. It is about 50 miles to the ski slopes at Romme Alpin.

In the village of Nås, outside Hedemora, is the farm Backgåden nicely located at the outlet of Lustån in Dalälven. The farm was built at the end of the 19th century with its dwelling house, bakery and outbuildings. Here Anders and Lena live with their horses, sheep, dogs and cats. In the ground floor of the baking building there is a kitchen, TV-room with a bed and a WC with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped for eight persons. Microwave oven, oven, a small bench stove with two boiling plates, and a wood stove. Coffee percolator and a water boiler are available. The upper floor has an open construction plan with five beds. It is possible to set up an extra bed in the room on the ground floor and upstairs. Barbeque facilities are available. Pets are allowed. Smoking is forbidden inside. Why not take the opportunity to book a horse ride with our calm, tranquil North Swedish Horses, or test to be a cabbie for a day or two… Please book our trips with sleigh when there is sufficient snow on the ground.
