Närssjön 24 km

The wilderness around Närssjön is a paradise for the nature enthusiast and a balm for the soul.

Start and end location: with parking: Utsikten Närsen, Bångvika, Köråsälva, Tjäderåsviken and the dam between Närssjön and Grycken. Length: 24 km, circular loop. Trail markings: Orange marking. Time: One day. Severity: Means. Trail description: As far as possible, the trail is as close to the lake as possible. It is recommended that you use boots with a slightly higher shaft for your hike. Activities or just peace and quiet, here is the right place. There is fishing, mostly perch and pike, a rich wildlife and abundant vegetation. Along the trail there are three fire pit huts: one at Köråsälva with 16 berths, one at Bångvika with 12 berths, some of which are adapted for the disabled, and one at Närsälva with 16 berths. There is a cottage by the Körås river called Lillstuga. It has four berths and is heated by a gas stove and has a gas stove. Visit Dalarna is not responsible for the trail or its maintenance.
