1281 a.s.l. Just across the border to Norway is Salsfjället. The tour is mostly on the bare mountain in easy terrain. Salsfjället gives a very nice view.
Follow the trail of Linnaeus towards Svukuriset, starting at the cabin nearby Grövelsjön, and further up towards the reindeer fence and Linnaeus Pass. When you reach the top of the mountain's south peak you can admire the magnificent views of the Norwegian mountains and Härjedal mountains. If instead you want to continue to the north end of Lake Grövelsjön to Sylen it is possible to return the boat M / S Sylöra.
