Solvändan strandpromenad 4 km

Solvändan starts from the bridge in Leksand along the river Österdalälven and then follows the beach edge of lake Siljan. The trail passes below the cultural center, the homesteads, the church, Hildasholm and Siljansvallen sports area. The trail is on gravel and has lighting, benches and is suitable for strollers and wheelchairs.

Length: 4 km. Difficulty: Green. Description: The trail starts at the bridge in the center of Leksand and goes to Leksand Sommarland. To go back you can follow one of the trails in the Lugnet-Barkdal nature reserve through the woods to the hockey arena or walk up along the fence to Sommarland and walk the cycle path back. If you do not want to go all the way to Sommerland, there are plenty of trail paths back to the center.
