The church in Insjön. Built on one of the oldest churchplaces in Dalarna. Rebuilt and restored in 1761- 67 and has a 15th century triptych of wood.
The building is characterized by its thick walls with deep niches around the door and window openings, as well as a low tower in terraces and distinctive bell-shaped hoods. Internally, the church space has two impressive dome vaults and is characterized by a bright and austere atmosphere with large windows. The interior, dating from various periods between 1770 and 1880, includes a monumental altarpiece from 1827 and an elaborate pulpit from 1784.
