Pine, spruce, birch, rowan and aspen grow here. As the forest is very varied, many different plants and animals thrive here. Wood fungi benefit from a good supply of dead wood.
At the top are two burial mounds, the largest over ten meters in diameter. The mountain was formerly an important care mountain and has a rich flora typical of southern growth mountains. Several species of birds, such as the peregrine falcon, nest on the slope. Visitors can use a shed with tables and benches.
The gravel road to the car park is prepared and clearly signposted. Outdoor life is common, and Djurmo Klack is a popular vantage point with shelter from the wind and fireplace. A path leads from the forest road up to the top, but climbing is prohibited at certain times.
