Matsäls Fäbod/Summer Farm

Located between northern Venjan and Limedsforsen, Matsäls stands at a high elevation offering breathtaking views of the Sälen Mountains. This fäbod has been continuously in use since the 1560s.

Here, livestock still grazes on green pastures. The animals are present at various times throughout the summer. Dairy products from the farm are available for purchase as supply allows. Please call before visiting.
