Silverringen - Östra Silvberg

Visit Östra Silvberg, one of Sweden's oldest mines, which had its heyday as early as the 15th century when a lot of silver was mined here. The water in the mine has a turquoise color. Also visit the Desert Cemetery, where the medieval St. Nicholas Chapel once stood. The chapel was built by the rich Silvberg men and was in use until the beginning of the 19th century.

In the summer there is a rest area with a table for a packed lunch, stop and enjoy the beautiful surroundings among forest and water.
