Restaurang Frö

In a spruce timber house in Hundfjället you will find Frö. The menu is based on wild-picked ingredients from the area together with carefully selected ingredients from organic farms. Flavors from the forest and mountains are enjoyed in front of the fire or by the panoramic window with a view of the ski slope.

The dinner menu is fixed, follows the season of the ingredients and changes a couple of times each season. Preservation methods such as pickling, salting, fermenting and drying play a major role in the work with the dishes where exclusively raw materials from Sweden and Norwegian water are processed. Whole animals such as reindeer from Idre and lamb from Lima are cut up in the restaurant and all parts are taken care of. The concept of sustainability pervades everything from the menu to staff management at Frö. Beverage packages of small-scale wines or home-made non-alcoholic drinks are always available. The evening's menu is only presented upon arrival. Booking is required. Parking is available. Handicap adapted.
