Family mining tour

The perfect adventure for the active family. Wander into the deepest darkness and explore a world beyond the limits of imagination. A unique adventure where you, together with our guides, wander down into the mine, navigate through long passages and discover a world full of secrets. The light from your headlamp breaks through the darkness and the journey goes down to the deepest parts of the mine, 80 meters underground.

The adventure is interspersed with stories about the mine lady who guards the riches in the mountain and the young boys who explored the deserted mine at the age of 16. Experience the crystal clear lakes of the mine and the magic created in a huge room with torches and music. Feel the rust under your fingers on the old mining locomotive and look for magnetic iron-stone with a magnet. During the visit, we offer coffee and lemonade in an old dynamite warehouse to get some energy and talk about our experiences.

The tour lasts about 2 hours.

Clothing advice:

The temperature in the mine is 4 degrees all year round. Stable shoes preferably boots, underwear, warm trousers and a jacket and hat to put on if it gets cold. Gloves and hat can be bought at the checkout if you wish. A warm sweater is never wrong and it's ok to bring a small backpack to put clothes/things in if it gets hot and you have to lighten your outfit a bit.
