The 2 km circuit that starts in Bysjön is extended at its southern end and includes a beautiful rest spot at Vitensand. A ski track runs parallel with the skating track.
Öje is a small village that is scenically located 17 km northeast of Malung, along road E45 towards Mora. Lake Öjen, also called Lake Öjesjön. There are many islands that give the lake a nice character.
Here, skaters are welcomed to the plowed tracks that start from Öje Bad and Camping, signposted from E45. If the ice conditions permit, you can go all the way to Hånäset, about 12 km to the south. The ice rinks are plowed on a voluntary basis by Öje IF.
