In the northern parts of the fisheries management area, fishing is offered that is almost the same as in Northland, with trout and grayling, which also mostly consist of natural stocks. Further south in the area, elements of the fish fauna such as bream and tench appear.

Within the Orsa fisheries management area, there are two purely cultivated Put and Take lakes, i.e. lakes where fish are continuously released, the purpose of which is to be caught relatively immediately.
