To rent a snowmobile on your own, you need a Swedish B driver's license issued before January 1, 2000 or a driver's license for snowmobiles. If you do not meet these driver's license requirements, you can drive your own scooter on one of the guided scooter tours, then the requirement is a B driver's license, regardless of when it was issued.
When renting a scooter, a helmet is included. There is also a limited number of scooter overalls and scooter boots to borrow.
It is important to follow the laws and local regulations that apply to snowmobiling, more information can be found in the booking conditions. The staff are happy to help in the store and check a suitable route before you set out. The scooter is delivered with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank. (There is a Circle K right next to the store.)
