Solvändan beach promenade 4 km

Walk along the Österdalälven river and round the church cape, following the shoreline of Siljan. The trail passes below Leksands Culture House, the local heritage museums, the church, Hildasholm, and the Siljansvallen sports area.

Start and end location: Leksandsbron in the center of Leksand. Length: 4 km, round trip. Trail marking: Difficulty level: Green. Description: The trail goes to Leksand Sommarland. You can return by following one of the paths in the Lugnet-Barkdal nature reserve through the forest to the hockey arenas or walk up along Sommarland's fence and take the bike path back. If you don't want to walk all the way to Sommarland, there are plenty of shortcuts back to the center. When Sommarland is not open, you can extend the trail all the way along the lake and then turn off and take the bike path back or turn around and walk the same way back. New direction, new view! The path is gravelled with lighting and benches and is suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Visit Dalarna is not responsible for the trail or its maintenance.
